The history of Khajuraho Art
The history of art in Khajuraho dates back to the 9 th and 10
th century AD when the powerful Chandela ruled the earth. This
period would have produced outstanding sculptures and architecture

engravings of these temples have become a point of discussion
over a long period of time. Many have been discussions about the
symbolic importance of art already Khajuraho. The Khajuraho art
represents the 'Pancha Makaras '(five principles), namely 'matsya

"(Meat) and 'mudra '(gesture). There were about 85 temples
of Khajuraho, which contained the Khajuraho art, but unfortunately
only 22 of them have survived the ravages of time. The temples

The origin of art Khajuraho
There are several theories currently prevailing in the 'time who
are trying to determine the causes of the creation of Kajuraho
temples. According to one theory, erotic sculptures were created
